NWskiers.org is the website for the The Northwest Ski Club Council (NWSCC). NWSCC is comprised of 30 clubs in the states of Oregon and Washington, representing nearly ten thousand skiers and snowboarders. Council clubs enjoy many benefits from their membership, including excellent trips at reduced rates, recreational racing, industry discounts and the opportunity to participate in the Council's special events.

NWSCC also works hard to provide input to government agencies regarding decisions that affect skiers and snowboarders, supply scholarships to young racers, promote winter sports safety, and create direct communication among its member clubs. NWSCC is also a member council of the Far West Ski Association, "The Voice of the Western Skier," which represents clubs and councils throughout the Western United States.

The Council invites all NWSCC clubs to appoint a club representative to attend the monthly Council meetings and act as liaison between the club and the Council. NWSCC meetings provide featured speakers from the ski and snowboard industry and regional ski areas, as well as reports of the Council's activities, which include trips, scholarships, PACRAT racing, public affairs and numerous special events.

The Council meeting begins with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., and actual business is taken up at 6:30 p.m. Council meetings take place on the 3rd Wednesday of every month, and the meeting place is listed on our Newsletter Page. Everyone is invited to attend and encouraged to get involved.
